On the vibrant afternoon of 25th November, from 3 pm to 5:30 pm, Potro, in collaboration with DUSS (Dhaka University Science Society), orchestrated an enlightening workshop aimed at fostering a sustainable lifestyle through the harmonious integration of plants and people. The gathering of 15 enthusiastic participants immersed themselves in an enriching session led by the esteemed Ujjal Debnath from Brac Nursery, a seasoned plant expert.

The hands-on segment of the workshop delved into the intricacies of planting and pruning plants, providing attendees with practical insights into nurturing a green environment. Ujjal Debnath’s expertise not only demonstrated the art of cultivating a variety of plants but also highlighted the significance of responsible plant care.

, Potro’s Communication Officer, took the stage to share his wealth of experience with the attendees as a keynote speaker. His session on ‘User-Centric Design, Process, and Community Engagement’ drew from Potro’s ongoing initiative, ‘SOBUJ-e.‘ Participants were captivated by the principles of user-centric design and the impactful ways in which community engagement can drive sustainable initiatives forward.

Sumon Paul, the CEO & Founder of Potro, concluded the workshop with an impassioned commitment to spreading the philosophy of a green lifestyle across the fabric of Bangladesh.
