On the vibrant afternoon of 25th November, from 3 pm to 5:30 pm, Potro, in collaboration with DUSS (Dhaka University Science Society), orchestrated an enlightening workshop aimed at fostering a sustainable lifestyle through the harmonious integration of plants and people. The gathering of 15 enthusiastic participants immersed themselves in an enriching session led by the esteemed Ujjal Debnath from Brac Nursery, a seasoned plant expert.
, Potro’s Communication Officer, took the stage to share his wealth of experience with the attendees as a keynote speaker. His session on ‘User-Centric Design, Process, and Community Engagement’ drew from Potro’s ongoing initiative, ‘SOBUJ-e.‘ Participants were captivated by the principles of user-centric design and the impactful ways in which community engagement can drive sustainable initiatives forward.
Adding to the collaborative spirit, The Kaffeehous and Potro Design Studio stood as venue partners for this workshop, providing a conducive environment for the exchange of knowledge and ideas. In the span of just two and a half hours, the ‘Growing Green, Living Well’ workshop managed to sow the seeds of inspiration and knowledge, fostering a community of individuals committed to weaving sustainability into the very fabric of their lives. The event stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, education, and the shared vision of creating a greener, healthier future for all.
